Canadian Forces cap badges

Branch and regimental cap badges of the Canadian Forces:

Armoured personnel wear the cap badge of their regiment on a black beret, and infantry personnel wear the cap badge of their regiment on a green or maroon beret. Member of all other branches (the purple trades) wear their branch cap badges on the headdress of the envirenment they are assigned to (eg. a navy doctor may wear a navy peaked cap or a black beret, while an air force doctor may wear an air force wedge cap or a blue beret).

Generals and army colonels wear a common cap badge, except those holding honorary appointments, and Chaplains, Legal, Dental and Medical personnel who wear the insignia of their branch or regiment. All members of UN forces wear blue berets, and all Multinational Force and Observers wear orange berets instead of their branch or regimental headdress.
